Copy & Paste
I delete you from my life.
Not because I want to, but to protect myself.
If I had a choice, I would do the opposite of delete.
I would copy and paste you into my life one million times over.
Until my screen is filled with you and you alone.
Some images of you may be rotated.
Some images may have to change size to fill the screen.
Some images of you will be upside down.
But thatās just a reflection of the infinite possible versions of you in our lifetime.
Donāt worry about your upside-down days.
Theyāre to be expected.
Normal.
But I would be there to rotate you back around once I had worked it all out.
The clicks of a mouse my offer of a hand to help you back onto your feet.
And I would click that mouse until I had worn an indent so deep that the grooves of my own fingers felt as though they were your hand to hold.
In your times of need.
And in the moments where you just want a hand to hold.
And when I just want your hand to hold.
I hope you find your copy and paste.
This was a piece of writing I came across a while back and had put it to one side for a while. It is not really for me anymore, but maybe it is for someone else out there who is. However that loss might look for you.
Many people come in and out of our lives for a reason. Around 90% of relationships will end before we turn 30. That statistic alone does not make the pain easier, but it reminds us that the feelings we have are shared, and that heartbreak, in all its forms, is part of being human.
You are allowed to wallow. You are allowed to grieve. You are allowed to admit that you will not be quite yourself for a while. That imbalance is part of the process. The feeling is strange, painful yet addictive, so be careful.
But there is also the other side of the coin and something I often have to remind myself. The world does not revolve around you. Your pain is not unique to you. That is not a cruel truth, it is a comforting one.
Because if millions of others have felt what you are feeling now and survived, then so can you. You have already survived so much before. This is just another season to pass through.
Sit in the paradox, to wallow, but also to know you will grow.
Pain + Time = Comedy
And one day, you will laugh at the version of yourself who went through this process.
š„ Haikuās Haiku š„
Haiku was inspired by Noel Fieldingās appearance on Taskmaster for this one, where he decided to camouflage as a banana.
If you have no clue of the reference then go check it out here and youāll see what Haiku is on about.

Do you think Optimus Prime and the other Transformers get MOTs?
I have mine this week, and so it got me thinking.
Maybe a Transformer MOT is like our free dental check-ups up until age 18. Young Transformers get a full body service for free After that, itās on them to pay a few nuts and bolts whenever theyāre not firing on all cylinders
What do you reckon? Answer in the poll and let me know your thoughts

P.S. if this mechanical madness made your gears turn, forward it to a fellow duckling whoād happily inspect Bumblebeeās exhaust.
